FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEOctober 27, 2004 Contact: CLARENCE LAMORA JOINS SCS ENGINEERS AS THE FEDERAL OPERATIONS LEADER Reston, VA. – Clarence F. LaMora, Jr., has joined the SCS Engineers (SCS) as the new Federal Operations Leader, announced Tom Conrad, Founder and Executive Vice President of SCS. In his position, Mr. LaMora will serve in a multitude of roles, for example, as client contact, client manager, proposal author, and/or proposal coordinator for projects for Federal agencies. Overall, Mr. LaMora will guide Federal initiatives and opportunities through to completion and act as a liaison for future Federal environmental projects. Mr. LaMora brings to SCS a professionally diverse and dedicated background. He has managed a variety of governmental and commercial expansion opportunities relating to environmental and engineering services. In addition, Mr. LaMora’s experience has included client liaison, formation of teams, coordinating and drafting proposals, conducting pre-award negotiations, and closing on contracts for providing environmental and engineering services. Moreover, Mr. LaMora maintains involvement in projects as a client services advocate. His detail oriented management approach had yielded a “Zero Defect” for his projects. Mr. LaMora has a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management (Management & Marketing), both from the University of Maryland, and a Bachelor of Science in Forest Ecology from Paul Smith University. Mr. LaMora’s diverse background includes 21 years in Naval Special Intelligence plus the last 10 years supporting the consistent growth of three corporations by application of his construction engineering skills, personnel management, and military experience.
