Douglas Derouin Joins SCS Tracer Environmental as Manager of Business Development

San Marcos, CA -- Douglas Derouin has joined SCS Tracer Environmental (SCS Tracer), a national practice group of SCS Engineers (SCS), as Manager of Business Development, Environmental and Engineering Services.

Mr. Derouin’s primary responsibility will be to assist in presenting the SCS Tracer capabilities to the broader California market in conjunction with other SCS operations. This collaborative effort will provide expanded capabilities to our mutual industrial customer bases and provide value engineering approaches to regulatory compliance problems. 

Mr. Derouin has over 25 years of engineering business development experience regarding environmental assessments and remediation of soil and groundwater, hazardous waste management, and air quality emission monitoring and reduction projects. In addition to environmental projects, Mr. Derouin has worked in upstream oil and gas development, nuclear power plant in-situ testing and compliance, and construction and installation of landfill gas systems and equipment. He brings with him the passion for business development, knowledge of the environmental services industry, and a client advocate philosophy. He is a big picture visionary with an eye for details and technical challenges.

Mr. Derouin has a degree in Mechanical Engineering, an MBA and various industry and professional certifications and affiliations.
