SCS Engineers and SCS Field Services
Awarded Two US Navy Contracts

Reston, VA – In June 2008, SCS Engineers (SCS) was awarded a “Seaport Contract Vehicle”. The next month, SCS Field Services was awarded a NAVFAC Washington Environmental A/E and Construction Services Contract as the primary teaming partner for TTI Environmental, Inc.  The Seaport contract is available for use worldwide, and the NAVFAC Washington contract is available for use in Washington, DC and parts of Virginia and Maryland.

About Navy SeaPort Contract
SCS's teaming partners include two Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), TTI Environmental, Inc., and Hixardt Technolgies, Inc., as well as a HUBZone firm, Marstel-Day, LLC. Seaport Multiple Award Contracts are designed to include all aspects of professional support services and engineering, technical and programmatic support services, including all support required within the area of environmental engineering of U.S. Navy weapon systems and base-related infrastructure.  Seaport is a unique contract that uses an e-procurement portal. The core of this portal is a commercial system that enables a secure automated procurement process. This system reduces processing time and provides the ability to take advantage of numerous acquisition reform initiatives, including award term contracting, reverse auctioning, and electronic signatures, while enabling Program Managers (PM) to select the solutions that meet their requirements. About NAVFAC Washington Environmental Services Contract
This open-end contract is one of the Navy’s first multi-year, multi-million dollar environmental services SDVOSB set-asides.  The contract scope includes environmental remediation, AST/UST services, Environmental Management Systems, air permitting, and other environmental A/E or environmental construction services.  TTI Environmental, Inc. is the SDVOSB prime, and SCS is the primary team member.  The contract number is # N40080-08-D-0314.
