PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Mr. Butler has over twenty years experience in estimating,
scheduling, quality control and management in Industrial, Hazardous Waste
Remediation and Methane Gas Recovery construction. Clients include the Hoechst
Celanese, Albemarle, Georgia Gulf, Shell Chemical, Exxon, Waste Management,
Republic, Allied/Browning Ferris Industries and Various Public Agencies.
City of East Baton Rouge – Devils Swamp Landfill, Baton
Rouge, LA – Managed the construction of a complete landfill gas / condensate
management system consisting of installation of forty-two gas extraction wells,
hooking up eleven existing gas vents, installation of over 35,000 feet of 2” –
18” HDPE header, lateral, condensate and air lines, modifications to an existing
wet well and furnishing, installation of five condensate sumps with air pumps
and installation of a skid mounted blower flare system.
Entergy Corporation - Lake Charles, LA – Managed the
construction of an engineered cap over an existing tar pit. Project involved
removing existing materials, installation of geotextile and geo-grid system and
reinstalling existing and new materials required for proper drainage.
BFI – Livingston Landfill – Pontiac, IL – Managed the
installation of forty-two new wellhead assemblies, installation of over 12500
feet of 4’ through 16” header/lateral lines and connection to an electric
generating facility.
WMI Coastal Plains RDF, Alvin, TS – Managed the
installation of twenty-five new gas extraction wells, below ground wellheads and
installation of over 14,500’ of header/laterals and forcemain. Project also
included installation of condensate knockout sumps and pumps and modifications
to existing blower / flare station.
BFI – Little Dixie Landfill, Jackson, MS – Managed the
installation of twenty-three LFG vertical extraction wells, one dual contained
sump, two single contained sumps, three air pumps, installation of over 4000
feet of 2” through 12” HDPE Header / Lateral lines, modifications to existing
blower building and installation of an enclosed flare system
WMI Tri-County Landfill, South Elgin, IL, WMI Closed Sites
– Managed the installation of forty-four LFG extraction wells, installation of
over 12,500 feet of HDPE piping from 2” – 6”, four condensate knockouts with air
pumps and one complete skid mounted blower/flare/compressor package system.
Rio Rico Landfill, Rio Rico, AZ – Managed the installation
of eight migration wells along the perimeter of the landfill, installation of
over 2000 feet of above ground PVC header pipe and a skid mounted flare system.
WMI – Covel Gardens Landfill, San Antonio, TX – Managed the
installation of approximately 2000 feet of 4” HDPE forcemain, HDPE manholes,
pumps, valves and flow meters.
Fairhaven Sanitary Landfill, Fairhaven, MA – Managed the
installation of 4500 feet of horizontal gas collection trenches, installation of
twenty-four gas extraction wells and twelve solar powered gas flares.
31st Street Landfill, Chicago, IL – Managed the
installation of 27000 feet of 4” – 14” Header and lateral piping, 68 drip traps,
one hundred thirty-eight wellhead assemblies and a complete blower flare
station. Flare was an enclosed flare.
BFI – Davis Junction Landfill, Davis Junction, IL – Managed
the installation of 19000 feet of 2” – 10” Header and Laterals, twenty
combination leachate/gas wells, eight leachate wells, three sumps with air pumps
and modification to existing tank farm, including 3” x 6” & 2” x 4” dual
contained piping.
WMI – Pecan Grove Landfill, Pass Christian, MS – Managed
the installation of 4” – 10” Header and lateral piping and installation of
twelve new wells.
Georgia Gulf Corporation, Port Allen, LA – Managed the
cleanup activities for the Tri-Mustine Waste Cleanup. Project involved Level B
waste segregation and packaging activities, macro encapsulation of waste
materials, landfill disposal, fuels blending and incineration services.
Hoechst Celanese – In Plant Service Account – Managed all
in plant remediation and disposal activities for plants in Pasadena, TX and Rock
hill, SC.
Albemarle Corporation – Managed all Waste Stream activities
for the Pasadena, TX facility as part of a negotiated regional agreement.
