Previous experience includes project manager and point of contact for four Florida Department of Transportation contracts, including identifying potential contamination impacts that may affect property acquisition or construction efforts, which allowed the Client to mitigate remedial and design efforts and preserve the production schedule. She also prepared various design change, right of way, and construction advertisement reevaluations, participated in valuation engineering studies, supervised surveying and sampling of numerous bridges for asbestos-containing materials and metal based paint, and conducted numerous Phase I and II assessments. He has served as the principal engineer and engineer of record for a wide range of public and private sector capital projects in Arizona and across the country for solid waste landfills and other public works civil projects. He has experience in civil site planning (landfill and industrial facilities); excavation and grading design; storm water management design; water and sewer infrastructure design; geosynthetic liner design; landfill gas (LFG) collection and control system design; leachate collection and recovery system design; landfill site life and volume analysis; and liquids distribution and wastewater recovery systems design.
His experience includes designing landfill expansions, landfill gas to energy facility site civil designs and planning, solid waste fill grading designs and facility plans, stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPP), and spill prevention containment and countermeasures (SPCC) plans, as well as construction management, CQA, monitoring, and inspections for numerous large-scale mass excavation and grading projects, landfill cell construction projects, pond liner projects, and landfill closure system installation projects, and water and sewer facility infrastructure projects.

Tim Buelow, PE, is a Project Director located in the Des Moines, Iowa office. He has over 30 years of experience in environmental consulting working primarily with landfill and environmental projects.
