Join SCS Engineers as we co-sponsor the ABA Section of Environment, Energy and Resources 2017 Spring Conference, March 29-31, 2017.
“We are a community without peer. We are a forum of incredible diversity and vitality. The issues we deal with are vital and essential, and we deal with them in a frank, open, exciting, and refreshing way. We supply the personal dimension of learning and professional development that, frankly, can only come with frequent, in person collaboration.” Seth A. Davis, 2016-2017 Section Chair Welcome Message posted on the ABA website.
The ABA Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources’ 46th Spring Conference program is designed to explore topics and issues environmental lawyers are facing today. Attendees will hear from the nation’s leading top lawyers, government officials, in-house counsel, academics, and industry leaders who provide significant insight into the topics most influential effecting natural resources law.
This program deep dives into practical legal matters. Panel discussions cover a range of topics including; energy and environment priorities of the new administration and the 115th congress, what all environmental, energy, and resources lawyers need to know about TSCA reform, and FERC pipeline certificate proceedings and new disputes over “public convenience and necessity.”
Connect, share ideas, and gather insight with the SCS thought leaders and professionals attending from around the country. Kick off the conference with ABA’s annual public service project – a joint effort with attendees from the Section’s 35th Water Law Conference, followed by a networking cocktail reception.
