We were among the industry pioneers in promoting public-private partnerships in what is now called Brownfield Redevelopment, and we are proud of our many successes in this growing field.  In fact, SCS helped redevelop environmentally-impaired real estate more than 25 years before the term "Brownfield" was coined.

A specialty of the firm is the redevelopment of closed landfill and fill sites, taking care to anticipate the challenges of construction over such areas.  This practice area draws heavily on our more than 3,000 landfill gas assignments, many involving design of controls to protect structures on or near landfills.
