Ray Huff Appointed a Director of Southern California Waste Management Forum

LONG BEACH, Calif. – SCS Engineers Vice President Ray Huff has been appointed to and now serves as a Director of the Southern California Waste Management Forum (SCWMF).

SCWMF is dedicated to advancing knowledge of the interrelationship between waste management best practices and preserving the environment. The Forum is governed by the Directors, made up of 15 members who serve three-year terms.

“We are very pleased that Ray has agreed to join the board of SCWMF,” said Chairperson Teri Cohan Link. “Ray’s contacts, experience and knowledge will be a great addition to the board as we grow in our objectives to exchange fundamental and practical knowledge about the changing waste management industry.”

Ray has more than 23 years of experience as an environmental consultant, specializing in multivariate data analysis and visualization, landfill regulatory compliance, assessment, remediation, post-closure care, and air quality/compliance issues, including greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions quantification. Ray is the landfill assessment and GHG emissions quantification project lead within SCS’s offices throughout the Western U.S. and is SCS’s National Partner for GHG.
