Evaluation of a Leachate Collection System Buried Under Class III Waste For Over 25 Years

Seldom are we presented with the opportunity to access actual components of a Leachate Collection System (LCS) that has undergone field-exposed conditions. This paper provides a case study for evaluating the performance of the various components of a 25-year old LCS buried under Class III waste.
