The Annual Colorado Groundwater Conference will take place at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Denver, Colorado, on November 20 & 21. The theme of the conference is “Everything aquifers and groundwater management”.
SCS Engineers’ Wastewater Treatment Director, Dr. Viraj deSilva will deliver a presentation on PFAS IN GROUNDWATER – ORIGINS, SOURCES, AND ACTIONS BY LOCAL & STATE AGENCIES, on November 20 (1:10 – 1:40 pm)
The conference will cover water quality impacts of hard rock mining, oil & gas development and irrigation, PFAS and PFOS, aquifer storage recovery in Colorado, groundwater sustainability, water legislation, and more. It is hosted by the American Ground Water Trust.
