SCS’s Neil C. Nowak, PE, will be presenting at the 2018 Permian Basin Environmental Regulatory Seminar on Thursday, May 24. Neil’s presentation will be on “High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Lined Produced/Frac Flowback Water Evaporation Ponds,” and is scheduled for 2:25 pm.
Neil has over 30 years of experience in the consulting engineering industry, including civil, solid waste, produced water impoundments, storm water engineering, and construction projects. Expertise includes building client relationships, managing budgets and schedules, building and guiding successful teams, and effectively utilizing project re-sources. His experience includes numerous oil and gas waste management facilities in Wyoming, Texas, Utah, and Colorado.
SCS Project Director, Jim Lawrence, PG, will also be attending the Seminar. Jim is a hydrogeologist with 30 years of experience. He leads the Texas environmental services program for SCS and has worked on numerous Railroad Commission oil and gas permitting projects, Phase 1 and Phase 2 investigations, RCRA-hazardous waste cleanups, Affected Property Assessment Reports, Response Action Completion Reports, Voluntary Cleanup Program sites, operation & maintenance of remediation systems, and designed and implemented a broad range of geology and hydrogeology site characterizations..
The Permian Basin Environmental Regulatory Seminar provides a unique open platform for energy professionals to meet with local, state, and federal agencies face-to-face . Seminar topics will cover the impacts of new or expanded regulations and policies.
