Environmental Services Leader

SCS Engineers is looking for a Senior Environmental Services professional to join our established team serving the Ohio-Kentucky- Indiana market. You can be hybrid in the Cincinnati office or Tri-State area in general. You serve as the Environmental Services (ES) Practice Leader for the Ohio area and be responsible for growing our business in various markets, potentially including the electric utility, industrial, manufacturing, and real estate markets. How you can make an impact

You will wear several hats, including Project Management responsibility, growing the ES Practice, and serving as a Seller-Doer.

As our Environmental Services Practice Leader in this area, you will contribute to our growth by:

• Developing new and existing clients
• Integrating with other ES staff across the company
• Managing and being responsible for Profit/Loss of projects
• Seek profitable ways to increase ES staff across the greater Ohio area

As a Seller you will contribute to our growth by:

• Playing a lead role in new client acquisition
• Collaborating with us as we develop strategies for expanding ways in which we contribute to our clients’ success
• Drafting and reviewing proposals
• Enhancing the value of the services that we perform for existing clients

As a Doer you will work with a team of professionals, including SCS’ national experts in various fields, to assist our clients in resolving a wide variety of environmental challenges to include:

• Groundwater Monitoring and Reporting
• Hydrogeologic Investigations
• Phase 1 and Phase 2 Environmental Site Assessments
• Soil and Groundwater Remediation
• Brownfield Redevelopment
• Environmental Compliance
• Liquids Management Issues
• Air Permitting and Compliance Reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters of Science in an environmental related science or engineering field required
• Minimum of 10 years of related work experience required
• Minimum of 5 years working at an environmental consulting firm required
• Business Development experience in the Tri-State area market required
• Valid driver’s license and driving record in good standing required

Pay range for this position is $82k to $130k depending on experience and location. This does not include bonuses or our Employee Stock Ownership Plan.
