We have recently launched our new Strategic Initiatives, broadly focused on clean energy and climate initiatives. Were seeking a full-time Strategic Marketing Director to lead strategic marketing, foster lead generation, and guide client development efforts in support of our initiatives. You will report to and work closely with the Sr. Vice President of Client Success as well as the initiative leaders. You can be based out of any SCS office or work remotely.

How you can make an impact as the Strategic Marketing Director

You will have a key role in the success of our initiatives, as you will be instrumental in increasing our visibility and strengthening our reputation within our target markets through thought leadership, content marketing, and support of key sales efforts. You will work closely with leadership to develop and implement inbound and outbound marketing efforts, including the production, distribution, and maintenance of valuable content and promotional materials. You will oversee market research regarding market trends, regulatory developments, potential expansion opportunities, client needs, client attitudes, and the status of the firms competitors. You may also work on key pursuits with initiative leaders and client service managers, focusing on positioning strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field is required. 
• Experience guiding thought leadership and content marketing efforts, which requires strong communication and publishing/digital marketing skills (we anticipate adding some writing capability to support these efforts).
• Leadership and interpersonal skills necessary to serve others, lead change, and build collaborative teams.
• Minimum of 8 years professional experience in marketing or business development required. Experience working with a professional services organization is preferred.
