SCS Engineers and SCS Field Services Awarded a GSA Schedule Contract for LEED® and Energy Management Support Services

Reston, VA – SCS is now available to provide Energy Management Support and LEED®Services through a Worldwide Federal Supply Schedule with the General Services Administration’s (GSA’s) Center for Facilities Maintenance & Hardware. This contract vehicle is open to all Federal Agencies and includes services for Energy Management Planning and Services, Training on Energy Management, Metering Services, Energy Program Support Services, Building Commissioning Services, Energy Audit Services, Resources Efficiency Management, Innovations in Energy and Water Conservation.

SCS has been providing Energy Management and LEED® type services since the 1970s, long before the LEED® certification program was initiated and formalized. Of particular note, SCS recently provided solid waste management program and recycling services to support LEED®certification of a major renovation project at the Pentagon. SCS is a certified greenhouse gas verifier, and the landfill gas control systems that SCS designs and operates for its clients reduce greenhouse gas emissions by more than 25 million metric tons of carbon dioxide every year. If someone asks if SCS is helping to address the subject of global climate change, the answer is a resounding “Yes.”
