Mr. Bailey is experieced with environmental site assessments (ESA) and remediation projects. His experience includes Phase I Environmental Site Assessments; construction quality assurance (CQA) for the installation of vapor intrusion mitigation systems (VIMS) and landfill gas control and collection systems (GCCS); operation and maintenance (O&M) of soil vapor extraction (SVE) remediation systems; conducting soil, soil vapor, and groundwater monitoring and sampling events; drilling activities and associated report preparation; and pre-planning and setup of remediation projects.
He also has experience in computer-aided design (CAD) of vapor intrusion mitigation systems and landfill gas collection systems.
During his years as an intern with SCS, he worked in the Risk Management field. He was responsible for the documentation of Process Safety Management (PSM) programs, Risk Management Programs (RMPs), and California Accidental Release Prevention (CalARP) programs for facilities using regulated substances. This work includes preparing all necessary documentation for compliance with the PSM/RMP/CalARP regulation, developing piping and instrumentation diagrams, and modeling potential off-site consequences of hazardous chemical releases.
