As a Project Professional, Marcela Aragon is responsible for coordinating and performing site assessment activities including soil and groundwater sampling, monitoring well installations, and methane gas monitoring. She has extensive experience overseeing construction projects including methane gas management systems and source removal projects. Ms. Aragon works closely with SCS’s southeast regional offices and clients. Since joining SCS in 2018, she has conducted environmental assessments and other environmental study projects for municipal and private clients.
Ms. Aragon has coordinated or participated in due diligence investigations, site investigations, environmental studies, and construction services. Facilities have included former landfills, landfill gas control sites, and agricultural sites prior to redevelopment. Other projects include site assessments and preparation of various documents for local and state regulators. Project sites have included former railroad yards, former railroad tracks sites, municipal parks, agricultural maintenance facilities, agrochemical mixing facilities, closed landfills, composting facilities, and active and closed lakefills.
