Mr. Duckett is a Senior Project Professional based in our Richmond, VA office with experience in solid waste research and consulting. He serves as Project Engineer for a variety of design projects, financial analyses, and planning efforts in support of solid waste assets such as convenience centers, transfer stations, recycling facilities, and landfills. He has particular expertise with Sustainable Materials Management (SMM) and Integrated Solid Waste Management and has he also conducts a variety of collections studies involving upstream and downstream considerations. Besides engineering design, permitting and compliance, his focus has been on operations, finance, economics, systems thinking, scenario analysis, capital improvement, disposal options and waste reduction/diversion, He is a Professional Engineer licensed in Virginia and North Carolina, and has a BS in Environmental Engineering, and an MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University.
His planning services encompass services ranging from business consulting to sustainability. He also provides full-service planning, design, and permitting capabilities for waste management facilities, from feasibility studies, needs assessments, site assessments, and the development of conceptual-level drawings, to the compilation of complete design packages of construction-level drawings, construction administration, local/state permitting and Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) inspections. Other work includes solid waste permitting, Clean Air Act (CAA) compliance/regulatory reporting, LFG modeling, and landfill/LFG CQA.
