SCS Promotes Dan Johnson to Environmental Services Practice Leader of its Southwestern United States Consulting/Engineering Operations

San Diego, CA – Pat Sullivan, Director of SCS Engineers’ Southwestern United States Consulting/Engineering Operations has announced that Dan Johnson is being promoted from San Diego Office Manager to Environmental Services Practice Leader. The Southwestern U.S. Consulting/Engineering Operations includes SCS engineering and consulting offices in California, Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico as well as client projects in Utah and Colorado.

Mr. Johnson has 30 years’ experience providing environmental assessments and remediation services. He is a nationally recognized expert in brownfields and due diligence, and is well known as a problem solver and for helping clients find practical solutions for hazardous materials issues related to real estate transactions and developing on contaminated properties. Routinely, Mr. Johnson is invited to share his expertise at conferences and workshops for hazardous waste issues related to real estate transactions and brownfield developments. His experience includes over 2,000 projects involving Phase I environmental site assessments, subsurface investigations, soil and groundwater remediation, redevelopment of brownfields sites, and regulatory agency liaison and negotiations.

Mr. Johnson will oversee a staff of over 60 technical and administrative professionals and have top and bottom line responsibility for the environmental services consulting and engineering practice in the southwest. Mr. Johnson will also lead strategic planning and market expansion planning for the environmental services group.
