Natural Asbestos Tamed On Interstate Project, ENR, Jun. 2017

During the construction of Interstate 11, the builders controlled potentially deadly, naturally occurring asbestos, saved a species of desert tortoise, and used treated water from a nearby wastewater treatment plant to control airborne pollution. All of this accomplished using environmental technologies.
