Mr. Valenzuela is an Air Quality Monitoring Technician for SCS’s Tracer division. With expertise in various types of air quality instrumentation, he performs operation and maintenance of SCS’s expansive list of air monitoring projects . He is also knowledgeable about local, state and federal regulations governing the collection of air monitoring data and quality control requirements. Mr. Valenzuela currently manages the field requirements for the Imperial Irrigation District’s (IID) Salton Sea Air Monitoring Project, which consist of a network of ambient air and meteorological stations, and he is a key respondent to the various IID Field-Scale Pilot studies.

Ms. VanDussen has extensive background in environmental engineering. She has experience in solid waste regulatory compliance and management, Clean Air Act permitting, environmental data analysis and management, assessment and remediation, projects cost management and finance.
Ms. VanDussen has extensive background in environmental engineering. Ms. VanDussen has performed air quality services, including preparation of permit applications, evaluation of permitting requirements and exemptions, performance of compliance assessments, preparation of emission inventories, annual compliance certifications, and semiannual reports. Ms. VanDussen performed air dispersion modeling using AERMOD View software by applying applicable state modeling requirements. Her practice encompasses environmental compliance and reporting for small and Title V, both publicly and privately owned landfills.
Mr. VanGennip has worked on various solid waste projects as a project manager. He has over 30 years of experience in design, permitting, and construction of solid waste facilities, water distribution systems, sewer collection systems, subdivisions, commercial and residential structures, FDOT, FDEP and SFWMD projects. He also has significant experience in construction cost estimating, proposal preparation, construction scheduling, bid document preparation, environmental feasibility studies, preparation of specifications and CQA plans, CQA report preparation, review conformance testing, leachate recirculation pilot test planning and implementation, remedial action plan preparation, quantity takeoff, construction material procurement, and volumetric analysis.

Mr. Venchiarutti, RG, is a Project Director in our Northwest region. He has nearly 30 years of experience in the design and management of environmental investigations, and the implementation of soil, soil vapor, sediment and groundwater sampling programs.

He has nearly 30 years of experience in the design and management of environmental investigations, and the implementation of soil, soil vapor, sediment and groundwater sampling programs. He also has extensive experience with the characterization of site hydrogeology, underground tank removal, storm water management, and hazardous waste minimization and spill plan preparation.
He has acted as the senior environmental scientist on three recent hazardous waste investigation projects under multiple concurrent task orders that included hazardous waste compliance and industrial discharge audits for facilities ranging from small businesses to large military bases.
Mr. Venchiarutti’s primary focus is on soil, sediment and surface water hazardous waste investigations, and groundwater monitoring projects. He is experienced with modeling and tracking contaminant plumes through a variety of media, and evaluating their impacts on human health and the environment.
Mr. Vento coordinates and performs site assessment activities, including groundwater sampling and monitoring, gas sampling, solid waste management, and soil sampling and monitoring. His experience includes gas management systems, landfill redevelopment, gas management system construction oversight, groundwater monitoring and remediation systems, and soil assessment.

He has managed projects for commercial, government and industrial clients in the US and Latin America. He has a Masters degree in Environmental Engineering and Sciences from the Colorado School of Mines in Golden.

Her experience in solid waste includes involvement in a diverse range of landfill design projects including lateral expansions, vertical expansions, permitting, stormwater management systems, geotechnical evaluations, modeling, and field experience in observing and documenting construction projects and verifying adherence to plans, specifications, and construction quality assurance plans. He is the Lead Design Engineer for many types of energy projects and supervises the design or design/construction of almost all of SCS Energy’s landfill gas power generation projects and renewable natural gas projects.

His experience includes designing, manufacturing, and maintaining customized mechanical skids and mechanical packages for a wide range of industries. His responsibilities include review of proposals from bidders and subcontractor’s submittals for compliance with project specifications, codes and regulations, and company standards; equipment inspections during fabrication; management of personnel; preparing project budgets; equipment commissioning; and technical support and specifications. Fabricated packages use positive displacement blowers, sliding vane compressors, multi-stage centrifugal blowers, pumps, liquid ring vacuum pumps, and other rotating equipment used in the environmental, power, water and wastewater treatment, flash-freezing, and commercial sectors. He performs engineering modeling and analyses for various landfill systems such as leachate and gas collection and control systems, leachate generation analyses, foundation analysis, pipe strength calculations, bearing capacity calculations, and storm water management. He is a Professional Engineer licensed in Illinois.

Mr. Violenta has over 23 years of professional engineering design and construction experience. He specializes in planning, surveying, design, and structural detailing of landfills; the preparation of road improvement plans; and road construction.

Vidhya Viswanathan, PE, is a Vice President of SCS Engineers experienced in solid waste engineering, storm water, and water and sewer infrastructure design projects. She is the Director of Engineering of our Southwest Region where she leads our solid waste engineering operations in California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, and New Mexico. She is a licensed Professional Engineer in California, Arizona, and Oklahoma. She is a licensed Professional Engineer in California, Arizona, and Oklahoma.
Ms. Viswanathan is a Vice President with experience in solid waste engineering, storm water, and water and sewer infrastructure design projects. She is the Director of Engineering of our Southwest Region where she leads our solid waste engineering operations in California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, and New Mexico. Her experience includes preparation of grading and drainage plans, design of erosion control best management practices, preparation of inspection reports and technical specifications, and providing construction support services on a variety of municipal projects, including landfills. She is a licensed Professional Engineer in California, Arizona, and Oklahoma.
Her work includes design and installation of LFG collection systems, landfill de-watering systems, LFG Blower-Flare Station (BFS) planning and site civil design, and construction oversight for LFG-related projects. She also has experience performing analysis of airspace consumption and remaining life assessments using AutoCAD Civil 3D, and in estimation of closure and post-closure care costs for various landfills. She has designed 5-year operational fill and gas collection and control system (GCCS) sequence plans, and prepared Joint Technical Document (JTD) updates for various landfills in California.
Ms. Viswanathan is a strong client manager with excellent GCCS design, construction quality assurance (CQA), and construction skills. She has a thorough understanding of all aspects of fill operations, construction, and OM&M, and has been an integral part of several site operations teams since joining SCS in 2012
During her tenure as a municipal engineer, Ms. Viswanathan was involved in the permitting, design, and construction of a variety of municipal projects, including landfill expansion and liner installation. Since joining SCS, she has been involved in the preparation of feasibility studies, and the permitting, design, and construction of various landfill and landfill gas (LFG) projects.
