SCS Engineers is excited to participate in A&WMA’s Odor Management Conference, taking place May 12–14, 2026, at the Radisson Blu Mall of America in Bloomington.
Building on the success of the 2024 Odor Management Conference and A&WMA’s odor webinar series, this conference will explore a broad range of odor-related topics, including odor science, chemical forensics and source identification, field assessment and sampling methods, electronic sensing, modeling, policy and regulation, controls and mitigation, community impacts, and industry best practices.
The program will feature international perspectives on odor management, along with a pre-conference webinar, technical tour, tabletop exhibition, and networking reception.

The presentation will compare field-based methods and ASTM-standard laboratory odor panels, outlining the strengths, limitations, and practical considerations of each. It will also explore emerging regulatory trends, performance-based permitting, and the integration of chemical surrogates with sensory data to improve source attribution and odor management outcomes.
