SCS Engineers Selected for State Route 91 Corridor Improvement Project in Orange and Riverside Counties

LONG BEACH, Calif. — SCS Engineers, an environmental engineering and contracting firm, was chosen by PB Americas, Inc., a global consulting firm, to provide hazardous materials consulting services in support of the State Route 91 Corridor Improvement Project in Orange and Riverside Counties.

SCS Engineers’ services will include an inventory of potentially hazardous materials associated with 22 bridges along the SR-91 and I-15 freeways; Phase I Environmental Site Assessments on two properties within the proposed freeway expansion area; and soil testing for herbicides, pesticides, and fungicides on several land parcels.

The contract will be led by SCS Project Director Kevin Green and Project Manager Justin Rauzon.  Mr. Green has directed many similar projects in California related to hazardous materials management and remediation.
