Mr. Aguilar is a project manager in our Field Services Operations, Maintenance and Monitoring (OM&M) Division. He is located in the Los Angeles/Ventura area.

Mr. Al Ayass is a Project Manager for our O&M Division. He is responsible for the operations and maintenance of a client’s landfill gas collection and control system as well as the liquids management system. He also manages construction activities and upgrades to the gas system and main headers, and is responsible for the flare station maintenance and modifications.

He has over 16 years of experience in landfill gas (LFG) control and recovery, including flare construction, gas collection and control system (GCCS) construction, and non-routine repair, emergency call-out response, and liquid management systems.
      He oversees many phases of project construction, including development, management, and oversight of field construction, and for preparation and installation of extraction wells, monitoring wells, condensate collection, containment facilities, leachate control and disposal facilities, and blower/flare stations. He has installed many types of pipe material, some of which are HDPE, PVC, CPVC, copper, gasket piping, black iron and stainless steel. He has experience operating heavy equipment, including loaders, excavators, backhoes, man lifts, cranes, water trucks, dump trucks, and drill rigs. Additional experience includes surveying, establishment of grades, preparation of as-built documentation, and compilation of field notes.
      Prior experience includes process hazard identification and loss prevention engineering for oil & gas projects.

Ms. Andrews has been working in the environmental consulting and environmental education fields since 2001. Her experience as an environmental scientist and sampler covers a variety of projects sites, including industrial hazardous waste facilities, petroleum impacted sites, and landfills. Her project experience includes soil and groundwater sampling using a variety of methods, including low-flow purge sampling, CQA for well installations and abandonments, remediation system installation and removal, remediation system operations and maintenance, site assessment, and tank cleaning and inspection.

She has extensive experience overseeing construction projects including methane gas management systems and source removal projects. Ms. Aragon works closely with SCS’s southeast regional offices and clients. Since joining SCS in 2018, she has conducted environmental assessments and other environmental study projects for municipal and private clients.

Mr. Augustine is a Project Director in our Portland, Oregon, office. He has nearly 20 years of experience working on Resource Conservation and Recovery Act; Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act; and National Priorities List (i.e., Superfund) sites in Oregon and Washington. Mr. Augustine’s technical experience and management experience includes performing environmental investigations, site remediation, landfill monitoring, and facility compliance.

      environmental compliance auditing, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) and Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) sites, and waste management. His experience includes management, planning, and technical direction of a wide variety ofenvironmental investigative and compliance projects involving contamination assessments, hydrogeologic nvestigations, feasibility studies, and assessment/remediation activities including sites regulated under consent order with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and State Agencies. He has performed numerous due diligence projects for property transactions (acquisition and divestiture), conducting both Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) investigations, and provided support for numerous industries with RCRA permitting and compliance issues.
      Additional experience includes organizing, developing, and managing studies, and preparing dossiers to support the registration of agricultural products in the United States with the EPA and in Europe with the EU. He developed, revised and validated methods of analysis of agricultural chemicals and their metabolites in soil, plant and water matrices.
