SAN DIEGO, Calif. – SCS Engineers, an award-winning environmental consulting firm, has been selected by North Santa Fe Housing Associates to provide environmental consulting services for Community Housing Works’ affordable housing development on Santa Fe Avenue in Vista, California.
“This affordable housing unit is located in an area that has recently experienced economic growth and development,” said SCS Environmental Due Diligence Project Manager, Luke Montague. “It’s rewarding to collaborate with developers to revitalize our communities and provide much-needed affordable housing.”
The three-story, 68-unit development is expected to be finished in the summer of 2015, and is part of the Downtown Vista Specific Plan which envisions revitalization of Santa Fe Avenue with the Sprinter and Main Street retail. Mitigation efforts of City-owned land focused on previous land uses on site and were recently completed with oversight and monitoring by SCS Engineers.
