34th Annual Environmental Permitting Summer School, Marco Island, Florida

Florida Environmental Network will host its 34th Annual Environmental Permitting Summer School on Marco Island, Florida, July 21-24, 2020.

Organizers are monitoring the COVID pandemic very carefully, and currently are proceeding with the conference, which will take place at the JW Marriott Marco Island Resort. There is also an option for Virtual attendance.

Meet SCS Engineers Professionals, who will be present — and presenting — at the permitting school, including

  • Dr. Viraj deSilva, SCS’s Director of Wastewater Treatment , who will speak about Managing the Regulatory and Transactional Risks of Emerging Contaminants such as PFAS
  • Eddy Smith, Vice President, will discuss Remediation Strategies & Case Studies
  • Jim Oliveros, Project Director, who will participate in a session on Emerging Issues in Pollution Liability in Florida

Florida Environmental Network, Inc. (FENI) is part of the Florida Chamber Foundation’s ongoing effort to keep its members and other business organizations informed of the numerous environmental and growth management laws and regulations affecting Florida’s citizens and businesses.  Each year, FENI produces the long-standing and popular seminar called the Environmental Permitting Summer School, which focuses on finding solutions to Florida’s environmental challenges, development and research, and working in partnership with state business leaders to secure Florida’s future.
