Sandra Ripplinger, CIH, CSP, Joins SCS Engineers

North Las Vegas, NV – SCS Engineers (SCS) is pleased to announce that Sandra Ripplinger, a Board Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and Certified Safety Professional (CSP), has joined the firm. She will head SCS’s Environmental Health Services Division based at the company’s North Las Vegas office.

Ms. Ripplinger has over 25 years of experience working in indoor air quality, asbestos, lead, mold, radon, environmental site assessments, and environmental health and safety issues. She is a licensed asbestos building inspector, asbestos project monitor, project designer and management planner, and an EPA certified lead based paint inspector/risk assessor/project designer. She has gained significant knowledge in investigating and managing environmental impacts to commercial, industrial, municipal and residential properties.

As a Certified Industrial Hygienist, Ms. Ripplinger has managed a variety of projects for property owners, property managers, and financial institutions from initial assessments to remediation and closure. In addition, Ms. Ripplinger has performed hundreds of comprehensive industrial hygiene shop surveys, indoor air quality assessments, ionizing radiation, non-ionizing radiation, noise exposure studies, chemical exposure assessments, workers compensation and environmental investigations. She also has supported the legal community in biological contamination and construction defect matters.

Ms. Ripplinger earned a BS in Occupational and Environmental Health and Safety, Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah, and is a member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association.
