Houston, Texas – As of October 1, 2008, SCS Engineers (SCS) has acquired RJR Engineering, Ltd., LLP (RJR) through an asset acquisition. Headquartered in Houston, Texas, RJR has been an environmental engineering, consulting and construction management firm serving public and private clients in the solid waste industry. RJR’s staff has successfully completed several hundred projects supporting clients’ needs for solid waste engineering, permitting and compliance, and construction-related services. The engineering practice of the new SCS Houston office will continue to be led by Jeffrey K. Reed, P.E. and James Roy Murray, III P.E., who bring a combined experience of approximately 50 years of diversified environmental engineering experience. SCS is confident that our new Houston office shares SCS’s commitment to providing Superior Client Service to all of SCS’s clients.
SCS will also utilize this new office to better serve its traditional clientele in the solid waste engineering and environmental remediation areas.
