January 30, 2019

LONG BEACH, CA – SCS Engineers announced several strategic promotions that increase the firm’s support for its landfill, waste management, and clean energy clients in California, to meet the state’s recycling and reduction of greenhouse gas goals, as well as the firm’s support for clients needing environmental due diligence and other environmental services.

Julio Nuno is now a Senior Vice President with SCS. He has more than 32 years of environmental services experience, all with SCS, and extensive expertise in property evaluation and due diligence; site assessment, investigation, and remediation; underground storage tank (UST) assessment, upgrading, removal, and leakage cleanup; and hazardous waste management.

Responsible for Environmental Services in Southern California and Nevada, Mr. Nuno has directed SCS’s contributions to many economic development projects, including construction of the Staples Center and the Phoenix Award-winning Chesterfield Square project, both in Los Angeles, CA.

The firm has also promoted three key employees: James Ritchie, Solavann Sim, and Sridvidhya Viswanathan from Senior Project Managers to Vice Presidents in their respective service areas.

“These individuals play key roles in our success in supporting the region’s environmental goals,” said Pat Sullivan, SCS Senior Vice President. “The work they do helps the region achieve its goals while developing solutions that can be used in other parts of the U.S.”
