SCS Engineers’ San Diego Office Adds Environmental Science Professionals Tyler Overton and George Liddle

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Award-winning environmental consulting firm SCS Engineers welcomes two new environmental professionals to the San Diego office: Tyler Overton as Associate Professional, and George Liddle as Technical Editor.

Overton brings more than 10 years of experience managing environmental projects at engineering, development, and solid waste firms and at a nonprofit organization. At SCS his efforts will focus on due diligence and environmental site assessments. His responsibilities will include conducting Phase I environmental site assessments, regulatory compliance projects, groundwater and stormwater sampling programs, and Phase II subsurface investigations, including soil, soil vapor, and groundwater sampling.

Liddle has more than 10 years of experience as a technical writer and editor, and experience performing environmental site assessments. At SCS he will continue to perform these responsibilities, as well as assist with surface and storm water projects.

“The San Diego practice is adding experienced environmental professionals to meet our current client needs and set the foundation for future growth,” said Dan Johnson, SCS Engineers Vice President and Southwest Environmental Services Director. “George and Tyler bring a broad range of industry experience and will enable us to increase our breadth of environmental services.”

Overton earned a bachelor’s degree in geography and environmental studies from the University of Colorado. Liddle received his bachelor’s degree in biology from University of California, San Diego.
