SCS Engineers’ Sterling Kenyon Elected as SWANA Chair of the Landfill Management Technical Division’s Health and Safety Committee

DALLAS/FT. WORTH, Tex. – SCS Engineers, an award-winning environmental consulting and contracting firm, is pleased to announce that Sterling Kenyon has been elected to serve as Chair of the Health and Safety Committee of the Landfill Management Technical Division of the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA).

Sterling brings to this position more than 20 years of experience developing, administering, and auditing health and safety protocols and plans for solid waste management services and landfill gas projects. His role will include the presentation of topics that resonate with SWANA’s international and regional conferences, online health and safety training, and as a contributor to the “Landfill Management Tech News” publication.

Sterling earned his Bachelors of Science in bio-environmental science and microbiology from Texas A&M University, College Station. He has received OSHA certified Health and Safety training on a variety of industrial safety topics and is an OSHA HAZWOPPER certified instructor.
