SCS Engineers’ Welcomes Environmental Engineer and Professional Geologist G. David Garrett

RALEIGH, N. Car. – SCS Engineers, an award-winning environmental consulting firm, has hired G. David Garrett, P.G., P.E., to serve clients in the Carolinas and throughout the southeastern region of the U.S. David, located in the SCS Raleigh, North Carolina office will work as a Project Manager and as a Senior Engineering Geologist on waste management projects for government and industrial clients.

David brings to SCS more than 30 years of experience providing engineering and geologic consulting services, specializing in mining, landfill siting studies, solid waste management, and industrial waste containment. His efforts for SCS will continue to focus on these areas, along with hydrogeologic evaluation, geotechnical engineering, remediation, and stormwater management.

David’s strengths in mining engineering, hydrogeologic investigations, and solid waste management enhance our capabilities for mitigating the anthropogenic impacts of industrial operations,” said Steve Lamb, SCS Engineers Vice President and Landfill Engineering Director.

David earned his master’s degree in civil engineering and his bachelor’s degree in geology from North Carolina State University, Raleigh.
