Birdsboro, PA – SCS Engineers (SCS) and SCS Field Services (SCS-FS) are pleased to announce the opening of the Reading, Pennsylvania, office. The new office will accommodate SCS’s growing practice in landfill engineering; construction; operation, monitoring, and maintenance (OM&M) of solid waste landfills and landfill gas-related projects; plus environmental services in Pennsylvania.
SCS’s engineering practice in Reading is led by Denise Wessels, P.E. Ms. Wessels has 20 years’ experience in waste management environmental consulting including landfill design, project management, regulatory compliance, permitting, environmental monitoring and studies, auditing, and budgeting. She began her career in the private waste management sector in Pennsylvania. She has been with SCS for 10 years.
SCS’s Field Services practice in Reading is led by Joseph Kostusiak, as an extension of SCS’s Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, office. Mr. Kostusiak has been actively involved in the engineering construction/consulting industry for 22 years, the last four years with SCS. Mr. Kostusiak’s experience includes technical support and project direction for various multi-disciplinary projects including landfill construction management, landfill construction quality assurance/quality control, landfill gas management system OM&M, and landfill gas management system design and construction.
