Mr. Cortez has 31 years of landfill construction and Operations, Maintenance, and Monitoring (OM&M) experience. He has served as field engineer and project superintendent on landfill cell construction, design, excavation, and all levels of landfill gas (LFG) system operations and maintenance (O&M). Mr. Cortez has managed multi-site contracts, subcontractors, and field crews for over 20 years. He holds numerous specialty certifications that bring value to OM&M or construction projects. He has Superfund experience dating back to the 1980s. He has worked with cogen operators at dozens of sites to ensure gas quality and quantity, while keeping systems compliant, and can help operators avoid impacts to ongoing operations.
