Carol Austin, GIT, is an experienced environmental compliance coordinator with expertise in environmental planning and assessments. She has over a decade of experience conducting subsurface soil and groundwater investigations for Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments, preparation and implementation of NPDES and BPM plans, implementation of Title V permit and MACT compliance requirements and testing, preparation of groundwater contour and flow maps, compliance sampling, and subsurface investigations.
She has been involved with hundreds of subsurface investigations involving petroleum products, metals, pesticides, and polychlorinated biphenyls in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina.
Additional experience includes compliance activities for 15 sawmills including Title V reporting, testing and renewal; MACT reporting, testing and renewal; NPDES sampling, reporting and renewal; BMP documentation, reporting and renewal; and sustainability development and planning.
