David Palmerton

Mr. Palmerton provides senior technical oversight, strategic support, and cost control for large multi-component environmental sites. Consulting assignments have included environmental science-based investigations, including soil, sediment, groundwater, and dense non-aqueous phase (DNAPL) investigations and remediation at some of the nation’s most high-profile sites. He also provides litigation support regarding contaminant transport, hydrogeology, geology, geographic information systems, and hazardous waste remediation.
His knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements has resulted in successful negotiations with regulatory agencies on the behalf of several clients.
He has managed and performed numerous Phase I, Phase II, due diligence, and remediation projects, including a solar farm geotechnical and environmental projects. He has managed the closure of large oil fields, plugged over 1,000 oil and gas wells, deconstructed oil and gas pipelines and facilities, and performed remediation of petroleum contaminated soil and groundwater.
Additional experience includes sampling and assessment of Superfund sites; underground storage tank remediation; groundwater, DNAPL, sediment, soil and biota sampling and analysis; and quality control for a uranium hexafluoride processing facility construction project.
