Mr. Saldivar is a Project Professional in our San Diego, California, office, responsible for performing asbestos and lead-based paint inspections, preparing reports, providing contractor oversight during abatement activities, and overseeing sampling efforts conducted by sampling technicians. He also works closely with SCS’s national and regional clients, conducting Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), creating Phase II ESA reports, and completing hazardous material surveys.
Previous experience includes working as an environmental scientist who has led asbestos, lead, bacteria, and moisture assessments for single-family residence and commercial properties. He has worked on industrial hygiene projects, which include indoor air quality (IAQ) and water monitoring and abatement. He is familiar with the use of the Perkin Elmer’s Atomic Absorption Spectrometer when creating reports. In the field of geotechnical engineering, his experience includes managing soil compaction, collecting soil samples, handling concrete slump, administering percolation tests, and analyzing asphalt for land development.
