Mark Madden is a Project Professional for our OM&M Group in Michigan. He has four decades of engineering and management experience, including geotechnical engineering for residential, commercial and infrastructure development, contaminated site restoration with emphasis on in-situ remediation techniques, mine development and solid waste management. He has solid waste management experience in municipal solid waste, construction and demolition waste, and mine waste disposal. Experience includes permitting, design, construction, operation, closure and environmental management of solid waste disposal facilities; landfill gas collection, control and beneficial utilization; and leachate management. He has designed and completed research, development and demonstration projects associated with leachate recirculation, landfill gas migration and temperature distribution in waste.
Mr. Madden was responsible for development and environmental compliance at the Anchorage Regional Landfill; the largest permitted solid waste disposal facility in Alaska as well as associated waste collection and transfer operations.
