Ms. Russo is a Business Manager for SCS Engineers’ Remote Monitoring and Control (RMC) group and the lead manager for SCS RMC’s drone services. During her years at SCS, she has transitioned from the SCS Field Services operations, monitoring, and maintenance (OM&M) administrative team to the SCS RMC team in 2013. She has managed the administration and installation of most of the 125 RMC west coast projects SCS has completed, to date. She is also a FAA licensed drone pilot and leads the development of SCS’s drone services, finding the latest applications that would benefit the clients in their efforts to optimize remote data collection and management.
She has managed and performed numerous aerial inspections nationwide and internationally for the purpose of thermal surveillance, methane leak detection, topographic mapping, stockpile calculations, aerial 2D images and 3D mapping. She is responsible for researching, interpreting, organizing, coordinating, and executing RMC Drone projects across the nation, and routinely schedules project staff; assigns work; tracks progress, budgets, materials, and prepares reports for clients and SCS management.
