Rani Romero, CEM, CIEC, is an Industrial Hygienist with over two decades of experience involving environmental health and safety in environmental due diligence, soil/groundwater investigations, and industrial hygiene, including asbestos, lead-based paint, biological (mold/bacteria) contamination, chemicals/metals, noise, and indoor environmental and air quality management. Ms. Romero is also a Certified Environmental Manager (CEM) and a Certified Indoor Environmental Consultant (CIEC), as well as a licensed asbestos abatement consultant and a USEPA accredited lead based paint inspector and risk assessor.
She has significant experience investigating and managing environmental impacts to commercial, industrial, municipal, casino/resort, and residential properties. As an Industrial Hygienist, Ms. Romero manages a variety of projects for property owners, property managers, and financial institutions, from initial assessments to remediation and closure; and she works in conjunction with regulatory agencies and subcontractors. She also supports the legal community in biological contamination and construction defect matters.
