Mr. Valenzuela is an Air Quality Monitoring Technician for SCS’s Tracer division. With expertise in various types of air quality instrumentation, he performs operation and maintenance of SCS’s expansive list of air monitoring projects . He is also knowledgeable about local, state and federal regulations governing the collection of air monitoring data and quality control requirements. Mr. Valenzuela performs the maintenance, adjustments and/or operations of ambient particle monitors.
Mr. Valenzuela currently manages the field requirements for the Imperial Irrigation District’s (IID) Salton Sea Air Monitoring Project, which consist of a network of ambient air and meteorological stations, and he is a key respondent to the various IID Field-Scale Pilot studies.
