SCS Engineers prepared an Odor Impact Analysis for the Southeast Regional Reclamation Authority’s facility in Dana Point, California, and for Capistrano Beach Water District’s facility in Capistrano Beach, California. Project work consisted of identifying the dominant sources of odor on-site, collecting ambient air samples to be analyzed for odor concentration, then performing dispersion modeling to predict the maximum off-site odor impacts.
We also prepared an Odor Impact Analysis for the Aliso Water Management Agency / Moulton Niguel Water District’s facility in Laguna Niguel, California. We surveyed the wastewater treatment plant to identify the dominant sources of odor on-site, collected ambient air samples to be analyzed for odor concentration, intensity and character, then performed dispersion modeling to predict the maximum off-site odor impacts.
