The NJ Composting Council and the Rutgers EcoComplex are hosting the 2023 Organics Waste Management Summit: “The New Recycling Frontier” at Rutgers EcoComplex in Bordentown, NJ, October 18, 2023.

Organics processors, composters, haulers, regulators, academics, organics waste management professionals, sustainable community organizations, and nonprofits are invited to join the conversation about New Jersey’s organics management practices.

The Summit will host panels from industry leaders, academics, and regulators covering food waste diversion, organics waste innovation and research, and emerging technologies. This year’s keynote speaker is Dr. Harriett Shugarman, Executive Director of ClimateMama.  Attendees can earn USCC Professional certification credits, Rutgers Recycling CEUs, and sit in on a Fireside Chat with NJ Department of Environmental Protection Deputy Commissioner Sean Moriarty.
