Field Data Analyst

Join us and create your own legacy. We are looking for a Field Data Analyst to be based in either the Murfreesboro, TN or Atlanta, GA area. It is preferred that this individual should have a good working knowledge of Federal, State, and Local regulatory compliance requirements at client sites operated, maintained, and monitored by SCS employees. The individual will provide support to OM&M Field Technicians, review monitoring data, and prepare OM&M client reports. In conjunction with the preceding duties, the individual will maintain client data and documents in the SCS eTools database and assist in scheduling OM&M follow-up monitoring.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Acquire, maintain, and implement knowledge of Federal, State, and Local Regulatory Agency, rules and regulations
• Develop, maintain, and implement procedures related to SCS Quality Management System and related QA/QC activities
• Locate, attain, and evaluate various permits to operate, and determine proper compliance activities
• Data entry for site client reports
• Database maintenance including the upload of documents as they are prepared
• Project Records Filing (Electronic)
• Provides technical assistance to region Project Managers in improving project organization and understanding including the generation of meeting preparation data and maps
• Works with Project Managers in developing client and regulatory agency relationships
• Coordinate reporting with SCS Engineers to improve product quality and timeliness of reporting
• Miscellaneous tasks as directed by the OM&M Project Manager

Qualifications

• 5 years of relative experience in the landfill gas industry required
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years compliance OM&M experience gained through practical experience and knowledge of Federal, State, and Local Rules and Regulations preferred
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree is strongly preferred
• Excellent communication skills, ability to manage deadlines, positive outgoing personality, and the ability to interface well with employees, clients, regulatory staff, and vendors
• Ability to read and understand Federal, State, and Local Regulations
• Ability to work with limited supervision; must be highly organized and detail oriented
• Knowledge of Windows-based word-processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software is required.
