Senior Manager - Environmental Engineer or Geologist

What we are looking for

SCS Engineers is looking for an Environmental Senior Project Manager/Office Manager for our Wichita office of 18 professionals. You will have a combination of technical work and administrative responsibilities. You will do technical work which could include environmental due diligence, brownfields redevelopment, remediation, and multiple environmental compliance services (air, water, land), as well as manage the Wichita Office. You can be hybrid in the Wichita office and will report to a Director.

• Create value by designing and delivering all projects to meet clients’ goals.
• Responsible for achieving set revenue, profit, and client satisfaction goals.
• Assist or lead the development of project strategies to solve technical challenges and provide solutions.
• Ensure PMPs, proper scheduling, financial reviews, and quality management are performed on projects overseen.
• Lead or actively participate in client prospecting, developing and executing client, sales, and key opportunity plans.
• Support business development efforts with existing clients, bringing specific insights from understanding the client’s business, needs, and service expectations.
• Oversee, manage, and mentor staff to advance their knowledge and career path.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering required.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience required.
• Minimum of 5 years of environmental consulting experience and business development experience.
• P.G. or P.E. required.

Pay range for this position is $90,000.00 to $130,000.00 depending on years of experience. This does not include bonuses or our Employee Stock Ownership Plan.
