Tim Flanagan of SCS Engineers is SWANA’s current President. He gives his thoughts on hot topics in the waste industry and how SWANA is involved. SWANA is the world’s largest member waste association with 11,000 Members, 47 Regional Chapters, and seven Technical Divisions. SWANA is a United States and Canadian National International Solid Waste Association Member. Importantly, the association is the strategic planner, partner, and waste industry voice to federal and state legislators and agencies.
Tim Flanagan is a Project Director in SCS Engineer’s Pleasanton, California, office. Tim has extensive experience championing and establishing cutting-edge waste reduction and recycling programs. He has directed multi-state domestic and export recycling tonnage marketing and sales efforts through key strategic industry partnerships in the public and private sectors. Mr. Flanagan is putting his three decades of recycling and solid waste expertise to work for SCS clients.
