Even the EPA’s allies question the plan for regulating PFAS

An opinion piece on regulating PFAS published in The Hill asks, since there is a lack of disposal methods for products with PFAS, should the EPA designate them as hazardous substances now? While managing PFAS is very important, are we ready for a designation that does not help clean up the chemicals; has no adequate test methods; and drives a substantial increase in costs in the solid waste industry, businesses with wastewater, and municipalities that inevitably must pass to consumers and taxpayers?
