Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, awarded SCS Engineers consecutive 5-year engineering support contracts, including task-related services, for the closure of the Cache Creek Solid Waste Landfill.
Engineering services varied over time, and included:
Third party technical review of the landfill closure plan
Evaluation of closure period plan and review of previous annual reports
Preparation of capital cost estimates, including potential closure costs and post-closure costs under several closure scenarios, to assist Metro Vancouver with long-term budgeting for the site
