SCS Engineers implemented an environmental compliance tracking database system for over more than 100 gas company facilities. Database software called opsAir is being used to develop a complete “model” of each facility including all equipment, monitoring devices and permit conditions. Each model allows one or more users to enter operational data (fuel meter reads, emission factors, etc.), generate reports and schedule/assign/record compliance activities. SCS conducted on-site training sessions as well as technical support.
SCS Engineers also provided RECLAIM MRR (monitoring, record keeping, and reporting) related services for six gas company facilities. SCS developed and submitted each facility’s initial MRR plan which specified the monitoring devices that would be utilized during the interim reporting period under RECLAIM. To assist with the MRR requirements of RECLAIM, SCS assembled customized MRR workbooks complete with fuel meter/timer log sheets and tune up/source testing reminder notices. In addition, SCS Engineers prepared the initial interim monthly and quarterly RECLAIM reports until the gas company’s RECLAIM database went on-line.
