Curtis Jang is a Senior Vice President and the Chief Financial Officer of SCS Engineers. He holds degrees in Economics and Liberal Arts and has over 30 years of experience, 15 years with SCS. He is a member of SCS’s Board of Directors and chairs the SCS ESOP/401(k) Contributions, ESOP Trustee Liaison, Strategic Planning, Stock Transaction, Disclosures, and Management Advisory Committees. As Chief Financial Officer, he is responsible for managing financial risks, financial planning and analytics, and oversight of Information Technology, Human Resources, and Health and Safety. His background includes experience in sourcing, negotiating, closing and integrating acquisitions. He has successfully closed and implemented seven acquisitions for SCS and several more with prior employers. In addition to Board representation inside of SCS, Curtis is a Leadership Advisory Board member for the Coalition for Renewable Natural Gas.

Mr. Jang’s key responsibilities include overseeing the financial development of the firm and its subsidiaries, analytical review of financial results including key metrics, overseeing financial audits, overseeing preparation of corporate tax returns, examining methods for reducing the company’s tax burden, managing cash flow improvement strategies, developing and executing the firm’s mergers and acquisition strategic initiative, active role in the development and approval of the firm’s IT strategic initiatives, annual budgeting, overseeing the annual benefits package renewals, monitoring and developing solutions to human resources and employment issues.
His career as a finance and accounting executive spans 20 years and encompasses finance, strategic planning, risk management/surety, information technology, and human resources.
