Mr. David Lamadrid, LG, RG, is a Senior Project Professional in our Portland, OR, office. He has been working in the environmental consulting field since 1995. Mr. Lamadrid is involved in all aspects of groundwater characterization, remedial investigation/feasibility studies (RI/FS), preliminary assessments (PA), environmental site assessments, and soil and groundwater remediation and solid waste hydrogeology. He has performed as a project manager, project geologist, and field manager for small- and large-scale projects involving a broad range of investigation techniques for sampling various environmental media such as sediments, groundwater, soil, landfill gas, soil-gas, and air to address a variety of contaminants.
Mr. Lamadrid has worked on a wide range of solid waste related projects, including preparation of environmental monitoring plans and reports, landfill-gas evaluations, corrective measures studies, and installation of compliance monitoring networks. He is experienced with developing work scopes and coordinating environmental investigation and monitoring programs, and with developing various client and regulatory review work products (e.g., proposals, work plans, memoranda, and reports). In addition to his experience with environmental investigations, Mr. Lamadrid has also supported litigation and insurance claims defense involving contaminant source identification, chemical fate and transport, and cost recovery and allocation under Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) actions. He has also been involved with a variety of hydrogeologic studies to evaluate groundwater use feasibility and resources, and is experienced with aquifer pump testing techniques and analysis. From 1996 through 2008, his previous employment included Dames & Moore, Kleinfelder, Exponent, and Shaw Environmental.
